Moderation at BigChatRooms.com
All of our rooms have a moderation team (The blue nicknames at the top of the screen). They have a duty to enforce the rules of each individual chat room. We're always on the lookout for some new talent to add to our moderation team but we don't just pick names out of a hat. Private messaging another moderator or a server administrator will get you nowhere, your request is more than likely to be ignored.
Ways of becoming a Moderator
Create your own chat roomWhen you create your own chat room and register it, you will be added as the owner (sometimes refered to as an S O P). You will be able to add your own moderators create your own topics and room welcome messages
Are you seeking moderation in an existing chat room?
This is up to the owner of the chat room. If you double click in the main screen or view the 'Room Options'
you will view the moderator and owner list. However is the room is a server chat room, these are the chat
rooms that have simaler topics and normally have the most chatters. You cannot request moderation in these
rooms.
Moderating Server Chat Rooms
Very few people moderate the server chat rooms, We're looking for a specific type of person to moderate
those rooms. You need to be on the chat server often and active most of the time, you need to show good
peoples skills and not have to rely on kicking and banning in all situations, we're looking for the type
of people that can defuse hostile situations between other chatters without removing the users. If you think
